Overview of Role:

This is a Summer ’24 Marketing & Communications Intern role in our growing company. The ideal candidate for the position is someone who has experience with project management, social/influencer marketing, event planning and strong writing skills. In this role, you will work closely with a talented marketing team to build and shape a world class brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creates the highly detailed annual event workback schedule, acting as the event process coordinator to ensure milestones are met, actions captured and communicated and keeps projects running on time.
  • Extends the current BOM (bill of materials) to include updated and aligned post event messaging email creation to share with BDEs/Stakeholders for greater targeted follow up and engagement.
  • Gain an understanding for outbound email campaign support on LinkedIn and other channels.
  • Support the execution of our media/advisor influencer monitoring campaign – capture and share back key themes and identifying content/market data that we can repurpose, promote, and utilize in our content and communications efforts.
  • Update all social channels and evolve Twitter to align to latest corporate messaging.
  • Utilize strong writing skills to develop an internal update to be shared monthly.
  • Manage association memberships to track and share with key stakeholders ensuring memberships are fully utilized.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled for a bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, marketing or equivalent related experience.
  • At least some professional experience and interest in AI related technologies.
  • Can manage multiple projects at one time and attention to fine details.
  • Stellar communications and interpersonal skills.
  • Seeks to initiate next steps without waiting to be asked.
  • Proven agility and ability to learn about marketing automation tools such as HubSpot, LinkedIn and Google Analytics.
  • Power user of networking tools such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
