Our fast-growing team seeks a skilled, motivated and reliable AI Platform Engineer Intern to help grow our company.
What you'll do:
- Contribute to the capabilities of the Virtualitics AI Platform to deploy production solutions that add value for our customers.
- Work with the product team to contribute to developing new platform features from ideation to production.
- Leverage integrations with big data frameworks (e.g., Databricks) to develop solutions.
Your Qualification:
- Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, which the U.S. government issues. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.
- Pursuing a Computer Science/EE/Applied Math/Statistics/Data Science/Physics degree.
- 2-3 years of experience with Python and other major programming languages (Java, C#, C++, etc.).
- 2-3 years of experience with Python Data Stack: pandas, numpy, sklearn, tensorflow, pytorch, matplotlib, etc.
- 3 years of experience with Git (or an alternative version control tool).
- A strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Pluses:
- Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes.
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL or other database systems (elasticsearch, graph databases, etc.).
- Experience with the full Machine Learning lifecycle (inception to production).
- Experience with technologies like task schedulers (e.g. Celery) and web-app development stacks (e.g. Flask/Django).
- Experience with Cyber Analytics, PCAP and network monitoring, CVEs and Cyber Vulnerabilities, etc.
- Experience integrating applications with at least one of Spark, Dask, Snowpark or Kafka.
- Experience with technologies like task schedulers (e.g. Celery, Airflow, Prefect, etc.) and web-app development stacks (e.g. Flask/Django)
